Bio
It is 2008. I've made all my past posts private and I am starting to write again. I'm still in love with Chase! We're happy, married, and more in love with each other every day.

My spouse and children are my top priority in my life.

Chase - She is my friend, my lover, my partner in life. Together we are raising 5 children and finding our way through life.

Our Children are:

Lexi was born in 1988 - she recently graduated high school and has applied to join the army. She should be shipping out in the summer of 2008.
Natalie was born in 1990 - she is about to become a senior. She is artsy, free spirited, and has had her hair every color of the rainbow.
Samantha was born in 1991 - she is the only girl on the boys football team in highschool. Off the field she is very much a girlie girl, but put on that uniform and watch out because she is one tough young woman!
Alex was born in 1993 - he is our oldest son. He is our straight A student. Learning comes very easy to him. He is our gamer/computer guru.
Erik was born in 1999 - he is our "baby". Erik is a lot of fun. He is totally full of imagination and spunk!

I also have 3 angel babies that are gone, but not forgotten.

In 1996 at the age of 26 I was dx'ed with SLE lupus. Less than 6 months later I was also dx'ed with fibromyalgia. I had a major lupus flare from 1999 until the end of 2003. In 2003 I had to have a hysterectomy and while my health still has it's ups and downs, it has been much better than it has ever been since as far back as I can remember.

Being good to myself is an important part of my life. I had to learn to put myself on my list of important things to take care of. I have found that now that I take better care of me, I am able to take better care of others. I've learned that other people have opinions, but their opinions are not the gospel. I can't satisfy everyone in my life all the time and it's not healthy to try. It's ok to say no. It's ok to do things for yourself without having to justify it to everyone around you.
